En 2023, nous avons \u00e9t\u00e9 occup\u00e9s \u00e0 aider les Canadiens de l\u2019Atlantique \u00e0 mieux se pr\u00e9parer \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9volution de notre climat en r\u00e9pondant \u00e0 des centaines de demandes de services pour des dizaines de secteurs, en lan\u00e7ant quatre nouvelles ressources, en organisant notre deuxi\u00e8me conf\u00e9rence, en \u00e9largissant notre \u00e9quipe et bien plus encore. Service Requests<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Our team of five provincial specialists<\/span><\/a> \u2013 one for each Maritime province, one for Labrador and one for Newfoundland \u2013 provide direct, one-on-one guidance to help people understand information about climate change impacts and adaptation so that they are empowered to make good decisions for the future.<\/span><\/p>\n

Le 24 mai, \u00e0 Moncton, nous avons organis\u00e9 notre deuxi\u00e8me conf\u00e9rence, Faire progresser les mesures d\u2019adaptation au Canada atlantique! Au total, 92 participants (en personne) et 112 participants (en ligne) se sont r\u00e9unis pour une journ\u00e9e enti\u00e8re de pr\u00e9sentations et d\u2019ateliers qui ont permis de pr\u00e9senter de nouveaux travaux et de nouvelles approches en mati\u00e8re d\u2019adaptation.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00c9changes d\u2019id\u00e9es<\/span><\/h2>\n

Ressources naturelles Canada avait, en 2023, des programmes de financement, dont le Programme d\u2019adaptation aux changements climatiques et le Programme des collectivit\u00e9s c\u00f4ti\u00e8res r\u00e9silientes aux changements climatiques. En r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 chaque appel de fonds, nous avons organis\u00e9 un \u00e9change d\u2019id\u00e9es pour permettre aux promoteurs int\u00e9ress\u00e9s de pr\u00e9senter leurs id\u00e9es et d\u2019entrer en contact avec d\u2019\u00e9ventuels collaborateurs. Lors du premier \u00e9change d\u2019id\u00e9es, le 10 ao\u00fbt, 13 propositions ont \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es \u00e0 55 participants; lors du second \u00e9change d\u2019id\u00e9es, le 19 octobre, 17 propositions ont \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es \u00e0 77 participants.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Activit\u00e9s auxquelles nous avons particip\u00e9<\/h1>\n

Nous avons particip\u00e9 \u00e0 de nombreuses activit\u00e9s en ligne, en mode hybride ou en personne <\/span>Adaptation Futures<\/span><\/a>, une conf\u00e9rence internationale remarquable sur l\u2019adaptation future au climat, s\u2019est tenue \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al. Resources & Tools<\/h1>\n

We launched four new tools and resources in 2023: our <\/span>Coastal Adaptation Toolkit<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Adaptation Library<\/span><\/a>, Adaptation Infographics, and blog<\/a>! We also redid our Funding Opportunities<\/a> webpage and saw dozens of pins added to our Networking Map<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Coastal Adaptation Toolkit<\/span><\/h2>\n

At the end of March we launched our <\/span>Coastal Adaptation Toolkit<\/span><\/a> (CAT), a resource for Atlantic Canadians to identify potential adaptation approaches for specific pieces of eroding or flooding coastline. Since the launch, there have been:<\/span><\/p>\n

Adaptation Library<\/span><\/h2>\n

In collaboration with ICLEI Canada, we transformed the former AdaptationLibrary.com into our <\/span>Adaptation Library<\/span><\/a>, an access point for hundreds of publicly accessible documents, tools, and products relevant to climate change adaptation in Atlantic Canada.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
