The Environmental Trust Fund provides assistance for action-oriented projects with tangible, measurable results, aimed at protecting, preserving and enhancing the New Brunswick’s natural environment.

Community groups, muncipalities, First Nation, non-profit organizations and institutions furthering sustainable development are encouraged to apply. Projects must belong to one of the following priority areas:

• protecting our environment
• increasing environmental awareness
• managing waste
• climate change
• building sustainable communities.

The application period is typically open from November 1-30 each year.
