Tree Canada provides grants up to $10,000 per project for schools, community groups, Indigenous communities and municipalities to plant trees or develop green infrastructure projects. Tree planting initiatives help support climate change adaptation by supporting biodiversity, cleaning air and water, and providing shade and cooling urban areas. Funding streams include: Greening Canada’s School Grounds, Edible Trees, and Treemendous Communities.
