The EJ4Climate Grant Program aims to empower communities to adopt climate solutions and establish working partnerships in the context of environmental justice. Provided by the Commission for Environmental Cooperation (CEC), the fund aims to prepare underserved and vulnerable communities, and Indigenous communities in Canada (as well as the U.S. and Mexico) for climate change-related impacts through educational initiatives. The fourth cycle of the program has the following theme: “Community-led education programs to increase environmental justice and climate adaptation knowledge”.

Eligible applicants include NGOs, non-profits, environmental groups, Indigenous Peoples and communities, and more.

Proposals were due on November 14th.
