The Nature-Smart Climate Solutions Fund (NSCSF) is a program within the larger Natural Climate Solutions Fund, which is a federal program that uses nature-based approaches to adapt to climate change, and to addresses biodiversity loss.

The NSCSF is a $1.4 billion, 10-year fund that will support nature-based solutions to conserve and restore wetland, peatland, and grassland habitats.

There are three funding streams:

• Place-based actions
• Sector-based policy stream
• Reverse auction pilot
