New Brunswick Environmental Trust Fund

The Environmental Trust Fund provides assistance for action-oriented projects which:

  • Protect New Brunswick’s natural environment
  • Increase environmental awareness
  • Address climate change impacts
  • Build sustainable communities

Projects may support climate adaptation through land-use planning, protecting valuable ecosystems, and managing waste responsibly.

Community groups, muncipalities, First Nation, non-profit organizations and institutions furthering sustainable development are encouraged to apply.

The application period is typically open from November 1-30 each year.
