Mahbub is a Postdoctoral Fellow at Dalhousie University in collaboration with CLIMAtlantic. His research focuses on Spatial Data Systems and Analytics, with a particular interest in Spatio-temporal Modeling, GeoAI, and Applied Machine Learning. At CLIMAtlantic, he contributes to the research and development of tools that support geospatial analysis of climate change impacts on ecosystems and communities across Atlantic Canada. He holds a PhD from Dalhousie University, an MSc from the University of New Brunswick, and a BSc from DUET (Bangladesh) in Computer Science. He currently lives on Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq (Halifax, Nova Scotia). Mahbub speaks Bengali and English.
