Indigenous Community-Based Climate Monitoring Program

The Indigenous Community-Based Climate Monitoring Program funds the design, implementation and/or expansion of long-term Indigenous community-based climate monitoring projects, which can be used to inform adaptation actions and address climate data gaps. The program was announced in the 2017 federal budget, along with a commitment to $6 million per year in contributory funding for 10 years, starting in 2018.
