PEI Climate Hazard & Risk Information System (CHRIS)
CHRIS is a web-based mapping tool that allows the public and decision makers to explore climate-related hazards and information for the Province of Prince Edward Island. CHRIS can be accessed on any computer, tablet, or smartphone, but for the best experience, we recommend using a computer or tablet due to the large amount of data.
Coastal Hazards Information Platform (CHIP)
CHIP is an interactive map that allows users to visualize the coastal hazards that affect communities and properties on PEI. Users can explore areas vulnerable to coastal flooding caused by sea level rise, tides, and storm surge over time. It provides information on how the coastline has changed over the past 50 years due to erosion.
