Michelle was born with an insatiable curiosity about how everyday things work. Once she realized that journalists get paid to find answers to any question they can possibly think of, she set her sights on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and reached her “personal best” of national reporter. Wanderlust next sent her to Vermont, where she helped to build an award-winning organic and sustainable specialty foods community. That in turn reignited her passion for the environment and her Canadian roots. Michelle comes to CLIMAtlantic via the Canadian Centre for Climate Services and Environment and Climate Change Canada. As a senior communications advisor, she helped launch Canada’s National Adaptation Strategy and the Government of Canada’s Adaptation Action Plan. Michelle specializes in making complex climate and public policies clear, useful and accessible. Michelle speaks English and French.
