Embrey mainly supports communications and engagement work at CLIMAtlantic, while also helping in other areas. She is passionate about environmental stewardship, sustainable practices, and climate adaptation. She values the Two-Eyed Seeing approach which brings together Indigenous and Western knowledge systems.
Embrey was raised in the Listuguj Mi’gmaq community in Gespe’gewa’gi and now lives in Fredericton, New Brunswick. She is committed to supporting environmental work that strengthens communities and promotes sustainable solutions. She is currently pursuing a degree at St. Thomas University, where she continues to build her knowledge and experience in environmental and community-focussed work.
