Climate Ready Infrastructure Service

Led by the Canadian Urban Institute and funded by the Government of Canada, the Climate Ready Infrastructure Service (CRIS) is a free-to-access service that connects local governments and communities (of under 30,000) and/or Indigenous leadership bodies with climate experts to integrate climate resilience into infrastructure projects and increase local capacity.

While direct funding is not provided through this service, participants are matched with and receive free services from ‘Climate and Infrastructure Experts’ for projects spanning 6 months or more. CLIMAtlantic is included in the Roster of Experts.

Registrations from local government and communities to avail of this service are accepted on a rolling basis. Applications to join the Roster of Experts are accepted on a quarterly basis and are currently closed; check here for updates.
