The Atlantic School Food Infrastructure Fund (SFIF) supports school food programs in Atlantic Canada. Food systems, food security and sustainability are all part of increasing community resilience to climate change. The program will fund upgrades to vital infrastructure and equipment as well as amplifying food production.

Two funding streams are available:
– Small grants stream – projects with eligible expenses between $5,000 and $25,000
– Large grants stream – projects with eligible expenses between $25,000 and $150,000

Nonprofit organizations engaged in food programming are eligible to apply. Applications were due on May 4th.
