Living shoreline work addresses erosion and protects the endangered Bank Swallow by stabilizing the bank and preserving nesting habitat. More than 50 volunteers helped plant native vegetation, including willow trees, shrubs, beach grass, and other perennials. This cost covers vegetation and installation costs, along with a three‑year maintenance commitment.
