The Net Zero Emerging Concepts and Technologies (ECT) program funds projects in Atlantic Canada that support clean technology research and innovation.

ECT is intended to help New Brunswick reach its goal of net-zero emissions by 2050, and includes support for research initiatives focused on nature-based solutions for carbon sequestration, which helps to reduce risks from extreme events (e.g., flooding, droughts) while increasing resilience to climate impacts and improving biodiversity.

Applications were due on November 29th, 2024.
