Since 1965, the Carthy Foundation has been supporting Canadian charities and others through funding for three streams, including Urban Environmental Sustainability. This stream supports urban climate adaptation through nature-based approaches to increase climate resilience and reduce vulnerability to extreme weather events, such as flooding and drought.
