The Municipal Climate Resiliency Grants will provide a total of $2 million in funding over two years to projects that help people and communities adapt to a changing climate and extreme weather events, such as floods and wildfires. Projects should focus on the community or homeowner level, and should implement proven adaptation solutions, have concrete measures of success, and have the potential to be upscaled across the community.

Priority will be given to applicants who have successfully completed the Municipal Flood Risk Check-Up and have included an overview of how the results of the assessment are addressed in their project.

Applications were due on January 31st.
