RBC Tech for Nature funds new ideas, technologies, and partnerships that address environmental challenges, such as climate change. Focus areas of this fund related to climate adaptation include:

  1. Supporting and educating the agriculture industry on more sustainable practices; and
  2. Nature-positive approaches that address biodiversity, nature loss, and build resilience to climate change.

Examples of previously funded projects related to adaptation include the development of an app for producers to manage their farm operations and gain insight into their sustainability, as well as the creation of a publicly accessible data portal with tools and products for conservation decision-making and land-use planning. Other funding focus areas can be found here.
